These terms explain how Urmemo works, what we expect from each other, and how we keep the platform reliable for everyone.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

Urmemo is intended for users who can enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and legally able to agree to these terms.
Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately about any unauthorized access or suspected breach.
If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Use of Urmemo

Respect the platform, our community, and applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Do not upload malicious code, interfere with service stability, or attempt to bypass security controls.
Prohibited content includes hate speech, harassment, explicit violence, illegal activity, and intellectual property infringement.
APIs and integrations must respect rate limits, avoid scraping, and may only be used as documented.

3. Content & Intellectual Property

You own your content. You grant us a license to host and display it so the service can function.

You retain all rights to the posts, media, and comments you create.
You grant Urmemo a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any material you publish, including images, music, and embedded media.

4. Subscriptions & Paid Features

Fees, billing cycles, and cancellations are described at checkout. Taxes may apply based on your location.

Paid plans renew automatically unless you cancel before the current term ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
We may adjust pricing with advance notice. New pricing applies at your next renewal unless you cancel before it takes effect.
Refunds are handled where required by law; otherwise they are at our discretion.

5. Security & Data Protection

We protect your data with industry-standard practices and expect you to do the same.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must promptly install updates, use strong passwords, and enable multi-factor authentication where available.
Report vulnerabilities responsibly at [email protected]. Testing must not harm the service or other users.

6. Disclaimers & Liability

We strive for reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform is provided “as is.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urmemo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid to Urmemo in the preceding 12 months.

7. Termination

You may stop using Urmemo at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations or risk to the service.

We may remove content or suspend access if we believe you violated these terms, caused security risk, or failed to pay required fees.
Upon termination, your license to use the service ends. Some obligations (like indemnities and limitations of liability) survive termination.
You can export or delete your content at any time. Data handling after termination is covered in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to These Terms

We will update these terms as the service evolves and will post the effective date at the top of the document.

Material changes include updates to billing, usage rules, or data handling practices.
If we make a material change, we will provide notice in-product or via email when feasible.
Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
